Configure the Crafter to receive the bamboo items. You will need a simple comparator clock or a Redstone circuit to trigger the Crafter once it has enough materials to craft the sticks. In the video, you can see how I set it to "Stick Mode" to ensure it automatically converts the harvested bamboo.
